Read this in Deuteronomy this morning and wanted to share. Keeping the Lord center in our life is key to everything, no matter what happens, we must keep Him centered in our life. What I read was Deuteronomy 30:20, in KJV, it says it this way, “That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”
To paraphrase other translations and to expound, we make a choice, we make a choice to Love the Lord and obey His voice and to cleave or cling or committing ourselves firmly to Him. He is the key, this is the key to your life and the length of our days.
The key to the promises the key to all is to Love, obey and cling/commit to Him! Basically as Joshua said, “As for me and my house”. We all have a choice today. I choose to serve Him and to live in the joy and peace that only He gives. We do not get that from this world or the government, true peace and happiness only comes from the Lord!
