The Beginning
A year ago yesterday and today, Beverly and I had the privilege of attending a conference in Branson hosted by our pastors, Drs. Mike and Karen Brown. At that time we had been about 4 months since we resigned at Flippin, but that week God birthed in us what would become the Crossing Ministries. The scratch pad is how we started. The pillars or vision of the ministry is to preach redemption, restoration, revelation and refreshing, through relationship with Jesus. That turned into the logo that Mary Mathis created for us just based on a simple conversation and out of the vision on the notepad.
We believe God’s heart is to redeem the lost, restore to the broken and the hurting, to give an understanding, revelation of His word and bring refreshing(revival). This is done when we live in relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit!
Today a year ago, God keeps showing us glimpses of what the Crossing ministries will become, we have a vision for the lost, for our community, our county and the world. Thank you so much for those of you who have been praying with us and supporting us by watching our weekly videos and sowing into our ministry.
Don’t despise small beginnings. You never know where a simple scratch or idea will lead. In fact the Holy Spirit revealed some more to me this morning, (I am not able to share with you yet), but of future things He wants to do with this ministry. Friends, God isn’t done with our area and our country. Revival is here! BTW, don’t forget Dr. Tim Todd will be in revival services this weekend at FWC in Branson, you don’t want to miss it!
